Ethical business

Using our business as a force for good

We’re proud to be a Certified B Corporation, part of a global movement of people using business as a force for good. As a B Corp, we hold ourselves to the highest standards of social and environmental performance, ethical practice, transparency and legal accountability.

We became a B Corp because our reason for being – making a difference in the community – aligns perfectly with the values and goals of the B Corp movement. Our Certification as a B Corp is the independent assurance that we ‘walk the talk’.

Good Things

In addition to the important work we deliver in partnership with our clients, we also work with community and public value organisations through our Good Things program. This allows us to support community and not-for-profit organisations with pro bono, in-kind and matched support, where our values and goals align – helping organisations who may not otherwise have had the opportunity to access our services. Since 2015, we have supported many not-for-profit organisations in the community services, emergency management, youth, education and volunteering sectors.

Our Good Things program is also the way we contribute to the community through workplace giving and volunteering.

Supporting local businesses

We are committed to supporting Australian businesses and social enterprises. We source most of our products, supplies and services from the local community. Where possible, we preference goods supplied by disadvantaged or underrepresented individuals and groups in the community.

Our commitment to the environment

We recognise our business activities have an impact on the environment, including in the areas of waste, energy, water, raw materials and carbon dioxide emissions.

We want to ensure that we make a positive contribution to environmental sustainability in our workplace. Our commitments to the environment include:

  • actively identifying opportunities to reduce our environmental footprint,
  • considering the environment in all relevant business decisions,
  • not working with organisations whose business is detrimental or harmful to the environment,
  • using 100% green energy,
  • measuring and improving our environmental performance over time, and
  • taking steps to create a paperless office. When needed, we source, and print using 100% recycled paper.
