Inquisitive, energetic and strategic
Andrew is an imaginative problem solver committed to doing impactful work. A naturally curious person, Andrew combines his desire to understand the core drivers of issues with his strong analytical skills to create structured approaches to solving problems. As creative as he is curious, Andrew uses his quick-thinking to identify unique insights and solutions, using his strong communication and stakeholder management skills to deliver them clearly and persuasively.
Working across the justice, human services, education, local government and youth sectors, Andrew is experienced in strategic planning, user/customer experience reforms, evaluation, process mapping & analysis, organisational design and facilitation. He has extensive experience in the non-profit sector and, particularly, in pilot programs, having founded multiple non-profits/social enterprises working in the youth, mental health and justice sectors.
A former recipient of the Young Tasmanian of the Year award, Andrew has held roles at the Victorian Department of Justice & Regulation, local government, national legal and human services non-profits, and the private sector. He continues to volunteer in a senior role at a national legal rights non-profit, a community legal centre, and within his own non-profit.
Outside of work, Andrew loves his sport, including futsal and cricket. He is also a mad Marvel/DC fan and has been known to light it up on online gaming from time to time.
