Deb is a proven problem solver. Known for her ability to balance creativity and common sense with every challenge, her experience spans organisational change, strategic and business planning, business case development, inquiry submissions and community engagement.

Deb has a unique ability to work with diverse stakeholders to bring people and perspectives together in sensitive and changing environments. Having worked at a senior executive level in the emergency services sector, Deb brings extensive experience to this space, as well as working across public health and safety.

With her understanding of group dynamics and her warm and reflective style, Deb is regularly engaged to facilitate executive strategy, team planning and community forums for local, state and national clients.

Inquisitive by nature, Deb loves reading articles and exploring new ideas that challenge the way we think and work. She also thoroughly enjoys all that comes with raising her son.

Experience  |  Highlights

  • Led the 2014 National Review of Warnings and Information, exploring good practice in the design and issue of warnings during emergencies in Australia. The Report’s findings and recommendations were adopted nationally.
  • Led development of Ambulance Victoria’s 2017-2021 Strategic Plan including broad executive, workforce and stakeholder engagement
  • Developed a shared Community Engagement Framework for Victoria’s ten Catchment Management Authorities (CMAs).
  • Regularly engaged to facilitate state and national workshops, with particular expertise and experience in inter-organisation
