Julia is a problem solver who excels in dynamic environments, relishing opportunities to think creatively and generate new solutions. With her strong writing and analytical skills, Julia is known for her ability to think strategically and communicate clearly and concisely.

Julia has a strong background in the emergency management and water sectors, and has held senior roles developing public policy and engaging with diverse stakeholders within Commonwealth and State Government departments.

With a proven capacity for delivering positive outcomes, Julia’s expertise spans policy development, strategy, communications and stakeholder and community engagement.

Experience  |  Highlights

Julia has worked across a range of policy and program areas in the Australian and Victorian public sectors, as well as consulting roles for not for profit organisations. Julia is skilled at adapting to meet the needs of the client, and her work has included:

  • Collaborating with key stakeholders to deliver strategic plans for several State Government agencies and not-for-profit organisations, spanning the Family and Community Services, Tourism and Justice sectors
  • Facilitating cross-agency workshops to support development of the Plan Melbourne 2016 Implementation Plan
  • Providing strategic advice to the Commonwealth Government on potential reforms to national disaster funding arrangements, with a particular focus on policy development, stakeholder engagement and governance
  • Managing several community grants programs to deliver over 200 events for communities impacted by the ‘Black Saturday’ bushfires.

Life away from Cube

Julia is passionate about exploring new places and meeting new people. Her love of travel has taken her camping through Africa – a big highlight!

Prior to joining Cube, Julia spent four years living and working in Canberra. She loved it there, and won’t hear a bad word said against it!

Public value is about working with communities and for communities. It’s about delivering tangible outcomes for the greater good and making a positive difference in people’s lives.
