With a strong financial background, Rob ensures each project delivers maximum public value and benefit to the community. Rob has a keen eye for detail and a valued reputation for delivering exceptional outcomes.

Rob has over 25 years experience in the public and private sectors and has performed key roles in project management, business analysis, financial modelling, budget formulation and financial management. Rob has the ability to take a big picture view, and develop lasting and innovative solutions.

Experience  |  Highlights

Rob’s extensive knowledge of project management and financial governance is supported by his commercial experience in health, justice, emergency management, utilities and education sectors. Rob has:

  • Chaired the Program Development Project for Common Equity Housing Limited (CEHL), overseeing development of guiding principles for the housing program comprising 114 co-operatives, over 2,000 households and more than 5,000 individuals
  • Developed governance options for ongoing management of the public safety mobile broadband across Australia for the Commonwealth Attorney-General’s Department (Public Safety Mobile Broadband Steering Committee)
  • Developed a range of successful business cases in the health, justice and emergency services sectors
  • Led strategy and engagement as the Commercial Manager for the Victorian Government’s $410m 12-year Wagering and Betting Licence Allocation Project
  • Provided strategic advice for a range of corporate projects focused on pricing, feasibility studies, infrastructure development and trade development at the Port of Melbourne Corporation
  • Contributed corporate and financial management to the Public Private Partnerships – Victorian Correctional Infrastructure Partnership ($275m) – Metropolitan Remand Centre and Marngoneet Correctional Centre

Life away from Cube

Rob engenders humour wherever possible, and some may say he is never short of a dad joke!

Rob enjoys traveling, and returning to his beautiful Tasmanian birthplace. He also has a passion for volunteering, supporting the community as Company Secretary of Craft Victoria and President of the local School Council.
