Trevor is a qualified engineer with a broad cross-section of experience including project definition, requirements analysis and development, system engineering and project management.
He has over 30 years of experience across a range of industries within both the private and public sectors, including emergency services organisations. In particular, he has significant strategic, technical and operational experience in the development and management of large scale projects.
Trevor has been involved closely with emergency service organisations over the last 10 years and led a concept development exercise for the Country Fire Authority in Victoria from 2005 through 2007 for an advanced, comprehensive incident data management system. In 2010, Trevor led the technical and systems engineering aspects of the Radio Replacement Project, and supported all stages of the project life cycle in between.
Trevor makes two significant contributions to any project: systems thinking and systems engineering. Systems thinking is concerned that the right problem is addressed, while systems engineering ensures the procurement process delivers a fit-for-purpose solution to the right problem. These skills are industry independent.
