Wendy Chen



Wendy is thrilled to be part of a purpose-driven organisation whose sole focus is making a positive and long-lasting difference to the lives of all Australians. In her previous roles, Wendy gained extensive experience in financial evaluation and commercial advisory, supporting business cases and strategic initiatives across the areas of logistics, technology, financial services, and community services.

With a deep interest in Innovation Wendy has gained hands-on experience through several Accelerator and Incubator programs applying Lean Startup, Disciplined Entrepreneur and Design Thinking methodologies on early-stage innovative ideas.

On sunny days Wendy enjoys an adventurous hike and exploring nature, on rainy days you can find Wendy going to concerts and galleries to satisfy her artsy side.

Experience  |  Highlights

  • Led the multidimensional cost modelling for a $100m+ strategic investment to enable universal access to banking services by the public especially those in rural communities.
  • Provided data-driven commercial advice for a corporate innovation aimed at removing barriers to online shopping and improving the experience for consumers.
  • Provided pro bono consulting work for a number of not-for-profits
    • Created a performance measurement framework for a regional branch of an international charity to ensure the effectiveness of its service delivery in order to better fulfil its vision and mission.
    • Developed an implementation plan to support the rollout of a therapeutic care model
