About Andrew

Andrew is on a mission to make a positive and lasting impact on the lives of Australians and cares deeply about the quality of our public institutions and civil society.
Leading our organisational design and performance practice, Andrew works with boards and executive teams to connect with purpose, build capable organisations, and improve impact. He relishes helping leaders to think afresh, make big calls, and change things for the better. 
Cubies value Andrew’s creativity, energy and broad perspectives. On Friday afternoons, he plays Cube’s bon vivant, foraging for charcuterie at the Queen Vic Market and charging our glasses with obscure grenache.
When he’s not designing operating models, reviewing structures, improving processes, or planning change, you’ll find Andrew volunteering, chasing around his two young boys, interrupting his golden retriever’s latest gardening project, or keeping an ear on the 3RRR gig guide.

Andrew’s recent work includes:
  • Worked with the Department of Health and Human Services, Emergency Management Victoria and Ambulance Victoria to update state health and emergency response plans
  • Delivered a process review of compliance functions for the Victorian Commission for Children and Young People
  • Helped EPA Victoria establish a new environmental public health capability
  • Delivered a capability review of Victoria’s biosecurity system, as well as a review of Victoria’s plant-based biosecurity arrangements
  • Led Cube’s work on an 18-month customer improvement process project for the Victorian Civil and Administrative Tribunal
  • Delivered review of Victoria Legal Aid’s management arrangements
  • Worked with the Administrative Appeals Tribunal’s executive team to design a leadership capability framework
  • Assisted Biosecurity Victoria to plan for the introduction of a new regulatory framework to govern alkaloid poppy processing and cultivation
  • Reviewed and redesigned Victoria Legal Aid’s regional management arrangements
  • Delivered a mid-term review of the Victorian Electoral Commission’s strategy, before helping implement changes
  • Reviewed an organisational restructure for the Australian Digital Health Agency
  • Helped reimagine a department’s operating model with the Secretary of a Victorian government department
