About Julia

Julia is a problem solver who excels in dynamic environments, relishing opportunities to think creatively and generate new solutions. With her strong writing and analytical skills, Julia is known for her ability to think strategically and to communicate clearly and concisely.

Julia has a strong background in the emergency management and environment sectors, having held senior roles within Commonwealth and State Government departments developing public policy advice and  effective engagement strategies.

Julia is skilled at adapting to meet the needs of Cube’s clients by working collaboratively with government, not-for-profit, industry and community stakeholders to identify and reach shared goals. With a proven capacity for delivering positive outcomes, Julia’s consulting expertise spans strategic planning, policy development, organisation design, communications and stakeholder and community engagement.

Julia is passionate about exploring new places and meeting new people. Her love of travel has taken her across Cuba and camping through Africa. Prior to joining Cube, Julia spent four years living and working in Canberra. She loved it there, and won’t hear a bad word said against it!

Experience  |  Highlights

Julia's recent work includes:
  • Coordinated organisation-wide strategic planning processes for a number of Victorian Government departments, agencies, health service providers and not-for-profits

  • Designed next generation arrangements for health emergency response in Victoria, informed by significant consultation with key health and emergency management stakeholders

  • Provided strategic advice on the transition of Victoria’s environmental public health functions to the Environment Protection Authority of Victoria

  • Delivered the circular economy policy engagement program, including facilitation of workshops across the state

  • Undertook an evaluation of one of Victoria’s Community Support Groups, focused on increasing social cohesion and creating a sense of belonging for young people in Melbourne’s northern suburbs.
