About Lorraine

With almost 10 years of experience in economics and policy consulting, Lorraine brings a clear, experienced, and evidence-based approach to solving complex policy and program challenges.  

Lorraine is an accomplished project lead with a strong understanding of First Nations policies, programs, communities and cultures and substantial experience in policy consulting across the government, not-for-profit and community sectors. She is known for her ability to navigate complex stakeholder environments, drive consensus, and support strategic decision-making. Her diverse background includes leading complex projects across health, education, justice, and community services, with a focus on implementation of new systems and services, co-design and governance.  

Recognising our government’s unique role in shaping and transforming society, Lorraine is committed to supporting the development of programs, policies, and strategies that have the most direct impact on our community. As an economist, Lorraine is passionate about making sure that public resources are allocated fairly, with informed-decisions, and that policies are designed to deliver quality outcomes for all Australians.  

Outside of work, Lorraine enjoys the Melbournian lifestyle with her husband and golden retriever, Lara (their pride and joy). They love going for walks to local cafes and parks and making the most of the city’s vibrant entertainment scene. Keeping an active lifestyle, Lorraine loves running – but makes sure to balance this with a healthy obsession with baked treats!
